Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on... Maeve Moayedi is an experimental, multidisciplinary artist whose inspiration springs from the undulating, fluid movement of water. Navigating across genres and cultures, she merges the organic and the synthetic into a sonic cartography layered with field recordings, nu-jazz, contemporary music, and electronic textures. Whether drifting through glaciers, oceans, and deserts or diving into the solitude of the studio, her creative process remains the same: to filter her lived experience, distil it, and channel it back into the musical flow through technology and a resolutely exploratory approach. A visceral plunge where every sound becomes a wave, making body and mind vibrate in unison.
