Now known as the main artery connecting Habay to the E411, Avenue de la Gare is much more than a road: it is a living witness to the evolution of Habay-la-Neuve.
During this fascinating conference hosted by Alain Thomas, discover how, since the 1830s, this avenue has shaped the daily lives of its inhabitants: bourgeois homes, garages, farms, religious communities turned schools and homes, sawmills, cafes...
It will also be an opportunity to relive the arrival of the two Habay train stations, a historic turning point as remarkable as the arrival of the highway for our seniors.
Many old photos and documents will illustrate this dive into the Habay of yesterday ... and enrich our view of today's Habay.
