Let us take the time to explore this fascinating period in the history of the city of Luxembourg. Using models, charters, and other archaeological objects from the permanent exhibition, we will travel back in time to the 10th century and see how the original castle called Lucilinburhuc gradually developed into the medieval city. Then, let us step out of the Museum and visit the archaeological crypt on Rue de la Reine, which houses the remains of the medieval fortifications built in the 12th century.
