Open Floor: House Dance is a dance jam where you can practice freely to house music in a friendly space where amateurs and professionals meet to share together, sometimes with a DJ. House dance, a social dance originating in the clubs of Chicago and New York in the 1970s and 1980s, blends different styles such as salsa, capoeira, tap dancing, and bboying. Open to all levels, this practice emphasizes fast and complex steps as well as floor movements.
