Synopsis: A closing screening, in collaboration with Tarantula Distribution.
Paying homage to "12 Angry Men," "Re-Creation" is a docudrama set in a jury room. Based on a fictional court case of Ian Bailey, a man accused of the murder of French filmmaker Sophie Toscan Du Plantier, 12 jurors analyze the evidence against him and determine his fate. Juror 8, played by Vicky Kreips, represents Sophie’s voice and, together with Juror 1, played by Jim Sheridan, delves into the case to uncover the truth, regardless of its consequences. The film aims to give the victim a voice and provide solace to those who grieve.
