Synopsis: Set in the mid-1980s in inner city Dublin of uncertainty, economic crisis, and gangs, an 11-year-old boy dreams of becoming a great detective like his TV hero Kojak. Bobby sets up a private investigation with his best friend Nell; however, when his older brother Oisín disappears, the young detectives get their first case.
A film for teenagers and adults alike (12+ due to themes of drug dealing and an open casket). A comparable setting to The Commitments.
