The 16th annual British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) - AUTUMN EDITION presents "Dragonfly". This compelling drama narrates the story of two neighbors who form an unlikely friendship, often frowned upon by those around them. Observing the impersonal care her elderly neighbor Elsie receives from professionals, Coleen decides to take on her care, deriving purpose and meaning from it. However, when her motivations are questioned, a tragic chain of events leads to a shocking and devastating conclusion. This heartfelt, tense, and atmospheric feature unfolds the universal issues of social care and treatment of the elderly and marginalized. Both lead actors were awarded at Tribeca in June 2025, and the film won Best International Feature Film at the Galway Film Fleadh in July 2025.
