For the sixth time, MusicDays transforms the city of Vianden into a stage dedicated to musical discoveries. The Calmus Ensemble Leipzig, with Maurice Clement (organ), kicks off the concert at the Trinitarian Church, with a program ranging from Renaissance to Romantic and contemporary vocal music. At the castle, the concert "Der Ruf des Horns" features works by Mozart, Brahms, Reuter, and Kurtág, in which the horn serves as a sonic thread through the ages. The Anaphora Trio takes over the Ancien Cinéma with a jazz evening blending technoid rhythms, improvisation, and non-European influences. For children and families, "Coppélia – Eng ongewéinlech Popp" tells an imaginative musical and choreographic story. The closing concert brings together Mozart's intimate clarinet quintet and Strauss's incisive suite "The Bourgeois Gentleman" – a final encounter of sonic finesse and stylistic refinement. Ancient and modern, poetry and acting enter into dialogue – there is something for everyone.
