Exhibition - To the Rhythm of Trees

  • exhibition

Watercoloring extensively, painting with oil or acrylic paint, depends entirely on where one aims to achieve, often dictated by the subject itself. The tree expresses its colors throughout all seasons, from brown, gray, even blue-toned to ochre and yellow. One feels compelled to sense and touch the tree. The goal of art is not to imitate it but to reinvent its essence. Pierrette Jager sought to create a new harmony, approaching the subject with great patience, tenderness, and delicacy. She used either watercolor, incredibly delicate as it needs to remain light and transparent, oil paints with more vivid colors, or mixed Indian ink with mediums. An exhibition celebrating the rhythm of trees and their colors, awaiting discovery!
