Do you want to create, dance, express yourself? Join us and take part in a unique creative adventure at CAPE! Together We Rise is a participatory artistic project for young people aged 13 and over. It combines dance, design, video, and text to give artistic form to the impressions, ideas, and reflections of the participants. Initiated by CAPE Ettelbruck, this collective creation brings together young people, city volunteers, and artists Anja Di Bartolomeo, David Laplant, and Natercia Rebelo. Together, they create a total work of art, presented as an installation at CAPE and a choreographic piece. Inspired by the creation Florescence in Decay, Together We Rise explores themes such as emergence and decline, metamorphosis, community, utopia, the cycle of seasons, as well as contemporary classical and electronic music. In small groups, young participants meet people from hospitals, retirement homes, libraries, conservatories, or gardening centers to gather their testimonials on these themes. These interviews subsequently inspire artistic creations in dance, film, poetry, and sculpture, fueling the installation and a short choreographic performance designed with the young people and presented as a prelude to the premiere of "Florescence in Decay."
