Teresa, a Chilean woman, comes to an isolated community of Croatian shepherds claiming to be the widow of their émigré family member Marko. Her arrival causes turmoil and impacts group dynamics. A contemplative and atmospheric film about the perpetuation of faith, gender roles, violence, guilt and belonging in a traditional society where not everything is what it seems to be.
