In our present, digitality and AI represent a variant of the end of the world. Will humans soon be subjugated by machines? Will the worst science fiction stories soon become reality? Isn't it already too late? Are we eliminating ourselves as actors in this era? Will only the inevitable global dominance of Big-Tech remain? Which of these fears are justified, and which serve as distractions? Who benefits from these fears?
