Having been involved for nearly 40 years, almost uninterruptedly, and always with very fresh formations and new ideas: Ro Gebhardt, a passionate guitarist-composer-arranger, residing in Berlin & Saar... One of the leading figures in his field in Germany, embodying German know-how both in the Republic and worldwide. Notably at the Blue Note, the famous jazz club in New York... In collaboration with his son Alec Gebhardt, a 17-year-old bassist and the youngest awardee of the cultural award from the Cultural Association of Neunkirchen, as well as a student at HFM Saarland. The Gebhardts explore the literature of jazz, pop, blues, Latin, and classical across different decades, captivating their audience with much joy in playing and breathtaking improvisation skills.
