On the occasion of World Kamishibai Day, discover this Japanese art in the media libraries of Metz to experience it, listen to stories, and maybe even reinvent the legend of Saint Nicholas in kamishibai. Kamishibai, literally 'paper theater,' is a Japanese storytelling technique based on illustrated boards that the storyteller slides through a portable wooden theater called a butaï.
