Steven Cruz (LU/PT) Formerly a main arrival point in Luxembourg, the central station of the capital sees a vestige of its past come back to life. Under Steven Cruz's intervention, one of the pillars of the old viaduct is adorned with an azulejos fresco. Inspired by the Manueline style and Portuguese azulejos, this fresco weaves a silent dialogue between memory, migration, and hope. It evokes pathways traveled, blending maritime influences, symbols of freedom, and fragments of forgotten stories. Each motif invites one to discover a moving past, to feel the discreet strength of those who left everything behind to start anew. The work, suspended between dream and reality, leaves room for the imagination. Steven Cruz (1996- ) is a visual artist of Luxembourgish and Portuguese origin. Trained in Lisbon, Athens, and Brussels, he develops a practice that blends art and design. Winner of the Graduation Prize at MAD Brussels and Generation Art by RTL competitions, he established himself on the Luxembourgish art scene. As a sign of his professional commitment to the art industry, Steven is the co-founder of La Concierge, a non-profit organization working for the recognition of emerging artists.
