This recently formed trio aims to present contemporary music by exploring the musical language of each member of the group and bringing it together into a common and unique group sound.

The unusual formation without a double bass offers a wide range of possibilities for composition and improvisation. Yaroslav Likhachev and Giovanni Iacovella, the trio's saxophonist and drummer, both of whom are also composers, have developed a recognizable musical identity and maturity in horizontal, atonal, and polymetric compositions, which have found fertile ground in the pianistic and compositional language of pianist Donatello D'Attoma—the latter being as close to the stylistic nuances of the Great American Songbook as he is to the aesthetics of free jazz.
