Regular Guided Tour: Welcome to the Villa
The exhibition presents a selection of Luxembourgish artworks spanning from the classical modern era to the turn of the millennium. It includes numerous recent acquisitions and donations. Explore works by the 'Secessionists' Kutter, Rabinger, Schaack, and Klopp, as well as pieces by Ernest Wurth and Adrienne Baudoin-d’Huart. The exhibition also features post-1945 works from artists such as Henri Dillenburg, Nico Thurm, Wil Lofy, Roger Bertemes, and Pit Nicolas, showcasing styles ranging from figuration to abstraction. From the 1950s/60s onward, female artists like Jacqueline Hentges, Coryse Kieffer, and Triny Beckius became prominent. Creations from the 1990s to the 2000s include paintings and graphic works by Moritz Ney, Marie-Paule Feiereisen, Annette Weiwers-Probst, and Renée Oberlinkels, alongside a sculpture by Bettina Scholl-Sabbatini.
