The exhibition features a selection of Luxembourgish artworks, ranging from classical modern times to the turn of the millennium, including many recent acquisitions and donations. It highlights prominent works by the 'secessionists' Kutter, Rabinger, Schaack, and Klopp, as well as Ernest Wurth and Adrienne Baudoin-d’Huart. The collection also includes paintings by Henri Dillenburg and Nico Thurm, series of images by Wil Lofy, collages by Roger Bertemes, and sculptures by Pit Nicolas, showcasing a creative dialogue between figuration and abstraction. From the 1950s/60s, the artistic scene gains a notable female influence with artists like Jacqueline Hentges, Coryse Kieffer, and Triny Beckius. Artworks from the 1990s to the 2000s feature Moritz Ney, Marie-Paule Feiereisen, Annette Weiwers-Probst, Renée Oberlinkels, and a sculpture by Bettina Scholl-Sabbatini.
