Mr. Scrooge, a grumpy old miser whose only passion in life is his wealth, receives a visit from ghosts on a freezing Christmas Eve. Having chosen to remain alone, wanting no contact with anyone, the ghosts help him open his eyes to his life (past, present, and future). These visions profoundly affect him and allow him to reconnect with love, empathy, and vulnerability.
