The Brass Band Hessen, consisting of 26 brass players and 4 percussionists under the guidance of their inspiring conductor Hans-Reiner Schmidt, was founded in 2008 to make a unique musical mark in the concert landscape. The band delves into the largely undiscovered rich repertoire of brass bands and enhances it with their own compositions and arrangements. Known for their distinctive sound and diverse programs, the ensemble is renowned for its exceptional quality. The Brass Band Hessen regularly collaborates with internationally esteemed soloists and offers entertaining and demanding concert programs.
