How do I position myself in relation to animals? How do animals position themselves in relation to me?
The relationship between humans and non-human animals is constantly evolving. At different times and in different cultural contexts, it has been and continues to be shaped by a variety of ethical, moral, and legal concepts. Our personal relationships with non-human animals also change over the course of our lives. Individual experiences play just as important a role here as new scientific discoveries and social changes.
