How do you respond to non-human animals in your environment? Do you admire the intricate webs of a spider, or do they make you uncomfortable? Are you fascinated by the movements of city pigeons, or do you find them annoying? What feelings do introduced species, animal testing, or the consumption of animal products evoke in you?

Our personal relationships with animals change over the course of life, influenced by individual experiences, societal changes, and scientific discoveries. The temporary exhibition "animalECH" at the Naturmusée invites you to explore these topics, critically examine and reorganize your thoughts and feelings, and reflect on ethical and moral perspectives.

Curator of the exhibition: Patrick Michaely. Patrick has been the Director of the National Museum of Natural History since 2022, having previously led its communications department since 1996.
