Luxembourgish director trained at ÉSRA, Adrien Lenert is passionate about writing, absurdity, and staging. After years of directing music videos, commercials, and portraits between Luxembourg and Paris, he writes and directs his own projects, including the series "Double Wobble." His short film "Luxembourg, U.S.A." narrates the initiatory journey of Mike, a Luxembourger who travels to Wisconsin to the town of Luxemburg to explore his roots inadvertently. Inspired by Andy Bausch and Quentin Dupieux, the film blends realism, absurd humor, and Luxembourgish bar culture. Through the Hansen family's story, the first Luxembourgish migrants to the United States, the film delves into themes such as identity, heritage, shame, redemption, and second chances.
