Ordinary People, a 1980 American film directed by Robert Redford. The cast includes Donald Sutherland, Mary Tyler Moore, and Timothy Hutton. The Jarretts, an American middle-class family, appear to be a perfect model, but behind the facade lies a much more disturbing reality. This film won four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for Redford.
