The Days features two performers, Maria Nurmela and Ville Oinonen, in a sensitive exploration of the connection, coexistence, and ongoing negotiation between two individuals. Through a movement-based script that evolves in every performance, this piece questions our human relationships, desires for connection, and balances of power. On stage, the two professional dancers are joined by two participants over the age of 55, adding a human and intergenerational dimension. Profoundly poetic and accessible, The Days reminds us that contemporary dance belongs to everyone, at any age.
