The city of Luxembourg and its fortress have been depicted many times since the 16th century. "City Visions" approaches the subject in a playful way, as a visual experience of the evolution of the city through the centuries and from a variety of perspectives. Drawing from the museum’s collections, the exhibition focuses on the "visions" of the city of Luxembourg – from early modern panoramas to abstract graffiti, including picturesque urban landscapes. Visitors are invited to engage with the exhibited pieces and enjoy activities for both children and adults (games, puzzles and toys, tactile models, painting stations, and a creative studio, etc.). With its wide range of images and interactive elements, this exceptional exhibition encourages a visit that is entertaining, curious, and educational at the same time.
