Lucia is on her deathbed, or perhaps she has already passed away? Surrounded by shadows, her tumultuous life began in Italy, in San Demetrio in Abruzzi, and led her to Luxembourg's mining region due to World War II. There, she meets Lorenzo, a young Luxembourgish soldier forcibly enlisted in the Italian army, who changes her fate. Their son, Jo, now a writer, embarks on a journey to narrate their story, intertwined with memory, fiction, and buried secrets. This opera-poem combines Italian and Luxembourgish traditions and memories in an emotional and sound-rich creation.
