Nothing planned for the 24th evening? You are invited for a friendly dinner! This year, my family is further away, so I am opening my home to spend Christmas Eve together with others who are also around.
Everyone is invited to bring a dish from their home country to share an international meal. You are very welcome even if you do not usually celebrate Christmas in your culture.
This is a volunteer initiative, simply meant to bring people together.
