BluesRain is a Lorraine blues band created in 2017 by two experienced musician-singers, Eric Botzung and François Issler, who have played blues for decades. Based in Moselle, the band performs throughout the Grand Est region, playing in eastern France (Lorraine), Luxembourg, Wallonia, and Saarland. The key members are Eric on guitar and vocals, François on bass and vocals, and Eric on drums. They perform classic Texas and Chicago blues, boogie, and rock'n'roll, covering legendary artists such as Albert King, Freddie King, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jeff Healey, Jimmy Reed, Little Milton, Sonny Boy Williamson, Elmore James, and John Mayall.
