Auckland + Cyelle [Belgian Music Week]
Aucklane + Cyelle
Aucklane: Aucklane's music is listened to as one would watch a film noir: with fascination. Each track feels as if it comes straight from a story where the heroine, both poisonous and rebellious, moves through shadows and light, wielding a voice that is both raw and sensual. After Nightfall (2022), an EP made with Rémi Gettliffe (Last Train), with each track gaining national radio attention, Aucklane returns with even greater confidence through GOODGIRL/BADSEED (2025). This debut album, created with faithful sound engineer Hugo Vandendriesche and producer Nicolas Quéré (Arctic Monkeys, Nick Cave), confirms what many already sensed: Aucklane is one of the rising figures in Belgian rock, walking the line between intensity and nuance. On stage, Aucklane doesn't just play, she ignites.
Cyelle: A new voice in the Francophone music scene, Cyelle blends dream pop, bedroom folk, and '70s influences into a soft and melancholic world, with airy sounds and a retro, dreamy aesthetic. Originally from Liège, she draws inspiration from Françoise Hardy, Men I Trust, Pink Floyd, and modern French chanson. After a decisive break to focus on writing and composing, she develops direct and sensitive songs, fueled by imagined love stories. Awarded at multiple competitions (Sphères Sonores, Concours Circuit 2025) and having attended the Studio des Variétés songwriting camp, Cyelle is currently working on her debut EP with producer Thomas Medard, as well as her new live show.
