Gwendoline refuses labels and posturing. Their music is instinctive, raw, and direct, falling into a dark and minimal wave somewhere between cold wave and punk. Their simple tracks are designed to be sung collectively, turning gloom, alcohol, and social anger into instant anthems. Recorded at home in Finistère, their album is dark, radical, and unembellished, supported by two complementary voices.
Pyo is the electrifying project of Karel Piot, revealed in 2023. His music blends modern post-punk with 1980s new wave influences, mixing punchy rhythms, shoegaze guitars, hypnotic synths, and subtle pop arrangements. The introspective lyrics explore themes such as depression, lack of meaning, and sadness, in a retro cyberpunk universe filled with nostalgia.
