Immerse yourself in Cuban culture at this unique workshop led by Gissel Ortiz, dancer and teacher trained at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte in Havana and member of the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba. This event offers a rare opportunity to discover and deepen your understanding of Cuban rumba in a friendly, lively and welcoming setting, driven by the energy and passion of this exceptional artist.
After the workshop, you can extend the experience with an additional hour to chat, dance and enjoy refreshments together. Musicians are also welcome, whether to play, dance or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere.
About Gissel Ortiz: Originally from Havana, Gissel teaches Cuban dances at the Cuba Y Salsa association in Paris, and organizes cultural evenings and trips dedicated to Cuban dance.
