What is the nourishment a child needs most? Love is what nourishes a child above all. Yet, there are toxic parents in the world—thieves who steal the love they are unable to give, sometimes violating innocence. Often, they cannot give what they never received themselves, and this curse is passed down through generations. To recover all that lost love, we must go back to the origins and understand the past.
"Les voleurs d’amour" is a journey to our roots, a return to the starting point of our fears and anxieties, in order to free ourselves from learned reflexes that poison our adult lives. Through dreams, nightmares, and testimonies, this play focusing on the karma of a family unit seeks to grasp the causes of invisible wounds.
From an original, striking scenario by Nicolas Steil, Frank Hoffmann directs this drama with a remarkable cast.
