Schueberfouer 2026
- funfair
- party
The Schueberfouer is the largest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. From the end of August to the beginning of September, the City of Luxembourg’s fair invites visitors to gather on the 4 hectares of the Glacis, transformed for the occasion into a magical setting. The Schueberfouer is also a major destination for popular gastronomy and innovation. Visitors come in particular to taste the delicious Gromperkichelcher, famous potato pancakes that are typical of Luxembourg. This is why the City of Luxembourg, organiser of the event, is proud to offer Schueberfouer visitors each year an appealing mix of tradition, gastronomy and thrilling attractions—a combination unique in Europe in this form. On the last day of the Schueberfouer, visitors will be able to enjoy the attractions at half price until 8 p.m., before admiring the grand fireworks display at 10 p.m. on the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge. The Schueberfouer will close on Wednesday, 11 September. Created in 1340 by Count John the Blind of Luxembourg, with the aim of making the city a hub of trade between Flanders and Italy.
