New Year's Contact Improvisation Dance Jam
Step into the new year with movement, play, and connection.
A cosy, welcoming space to reflect on the past year, set intentions for the coming one, and celebrate together through dance.
Contact improvisation is a dance practice where we move together through connection, weight, and shared momentum. No fixed choreography, no experience needed—just curiosity, presence, and a willingness to explore new possibilities in the body.
What's planned:
- Ice breaking, grounding & warm-up
- Introduction to contact improvisation (simple guidance for beginners and a soft re-entry for returning dancers)
- Open dance jam (dance your intentions for the new year and share movement with others)
- Supportive, spacious, and playful music for both reflection and celebration
Start the year with an afternoon of movement, connection, and joyful resolutions in motion.
