Let's take the time to discover together this fascinating period in the history of the city of Luxembourg. With the help of models, charters, and other archaeological objects from the permanent exhibition, let's travel back in time to the 10th century and see how, from the original castle called Lucilinburhuc, the medieval city was gradually built.
Then, let's leave the museum and visit the archaeological crypt on Rue de la Reine, which houses remains of the medieval fortifications built in the 12th century.
