In the 80s and 90s, when French pop was shining only intermittently, Les Innocents were a guiding light, kindled from within by a melodic flame and poetic brilliance that only they could ignite. Their story, marked by artistic excellence and popular success, concluded in 2000, but such stories never truly end. In 2013, Jipé Nataf and Jean-Chri Urbain, the group's two leaders, brought their voices and guitars together again, releasing the album "Mandarine" in 2015—awarded a Victoire de la Musique for Best Rock Album—and the project "6 ½" in 2019, both praised by critics.
