The accio piano trio was founded in 2013 by Clemens Böck, Anne Sophie Keckeis, and Christina Scheicher at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Since then, the ensemble has performed numerous concert tours across Austria, Germany, France, Italy, England, Denmark, Czechia, Slovakia, Turkey, as well as trips to Malta, China, and Senegal.

From 2020, the trio deepened their studies in the Master's program for piano trio chamber music at HMDK Stuttgart with Martin Funda and Florian Wiek, graduating with distinction in 2023. In 2021, they made their debut at Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg. In the 2024/25 season, they were invited multiple times as Featured Artists at the Stiftung, performing at family concerts and season concerts.

Other projects this year include performances in the context of the Mozart-Gesellschaft Stuttgart, a first US tour (Washington D.C. and New York City, May/June), as well as appearances in Ljubljana, Paris, and London. In collaboration with Jeunesse Austria, they offer both a children's program and classical chamber concerts. For the 2025/26 season, accio piano trio was selected for The New Austrian Sound of Music (NASOM) support program, becoming Austrian cultural ambassadors internationally.

The trio has won several prizes at national and international competitions, including Musica Juventutis (Vienna), the 9th International Johannes Brahms Chamber Music Competition in Gdańsk (Poland), the Brahms Competition in Pörtschach and the Carl-Wendling Chamber Music Competition in Stuttgart. Their repertoire highlights, alongside masterpieces of Viennese Classicism, rarely played piano trios by composers including Frank Martin, Lili Boulanger, Bohuslav Martinů, Cécile Chaminade, or Dora Pejačević.
