Repair Cafés are volunteer meetings where participants repair their broken items together: IT hardware and software, furniture, electrical appliances, toys, textiles/clothing, bicycles, mechanical devices, etc.
For touchscreen or smartphone devices, service will usually be limited to diagnostics and advice. It is strongly recommended to have these devices repaired by specialist stores.
Tips before coming:
– Check your device's power supply (control light on, batteries charged, power cord in good condition).
– Maintain your device (empty filters, descale coffee machines, etc.).
Please bring everything needed to test and repair your item: coffee capsule for a coffee machine, DVD for DVD player, fuel for combustion engine, charger, cable, manual, identified spare parts, etc.
Note: It is possible there may not be competent repairers for every type of object on the day of the event. Bring the necessary accessories to test your item.
