Brutal breakdowns and sax solos are just a fraction of the Agabas experience, as the band has proven again and again that their passion for deathjazz cannot be contained when they enter the stage. Exploding with energy as they pump out their high-intensity jazz-fueled metal riffs, you might find yourself severely overstimulated by the end. Since their debut album in 2021, the band has slowly but steadily climbed their way up from the Norwegian underground scene and are now starting to make some serious waves in the world of extreme music. Influenced by bands like Meshuggah, Gojira, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Converge and also drawing from the jazz of John Coltrane and Ornette Coleman, Agabas delivers a unique sound. Their third studio album “Hard Anger” will be released on June 13, 2025.
