One ever-so-dreamy teenager, two slightly reckless bachibouzouks — and a whirlwind adventure of leaps and spins!
On stage, enormous tarps swell like sails, take flight, then float gently down like picnic blankets, while Vivaldi’s Four Seasons fills the air. Choreographer Philippe Saire conjures a cascade of strikingly evocative scenes to chart the coming-of-age journey of a young boy, jolted awake in the middle of the night and plunged into a topsy-turvy world.
As he explores this shifting universe, he encounters a quirky duo — part clowns, part angels, at times sailors, at times cowboys, but always mischievous. With gleeful determination, they scatter obstacles in his path, turning this nocturnal escapade into a joyful lesson in life and self-discovery.
