DAN’ CHA’, Belgian guitarist and singer-songwriter, launched his new blues and rock oriented band in early 2024. With over 20 years of experience as a live and studio musician, he now mainly writes and performs his own songs, influenced by blues, soul, and rock music. The melodies and lyrics of his songs are simple yet catchy and memorable. Despite the simplicity of his compositions, DAN’ CHA’ puts great emphasis on melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic diversity. His thoughtful lyrics deal with everyday subjects as well as social and societal issues. In his repertoire, he pays tribute to blues icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and B.B. King. His bandmates in “the b.a.d. SLANG” take his music to a higher level.
