Once again, Daniel, an architect, comes home late. His wife Sibylle, a doctor, is annoyed: the children have already eaten and are asleep. She tries to watch a documentary, but Daniel constantly interrupts her. The atmosphere is tense. Then Daniel's phone rings: it's Franziska, his ex, who has just broken up with her boyfriend and asks to stay the night. He refuses, but Franziska shows up anyway. Her arrival stirs up tensions and hidden questions in the couple. Marius von Mayenburg's play explores the extremes of a couple pushed to the limit, with a bitter sense of humor.
