On these special Wednesday evenings, Mudam invites visitors to reclaim the museum in fun, convivial, and joyful ways, rediscovering the building by taking part in Night Fever activities. Through partnerships with local collectives, Mudam connects with Luxembourg’s communities, inviting them to co-host unique events. Free and open to all, everyone is invited to these communal and interactive gatherings to expand their museum experience. This workshop welcomes knitting novices and the simply curious to enjoy a unique collective creative experience: continue the knitting project of the person at the next table, change yarn, colour, texture, or stitch, embrace mistakes, lost or added stitches, to create a large, unique collective work of art. Mamie et Moi is a non-profit organisation founded in Luxembourg in 2014 to promote intergenerational ties and strengthen solidarity between generations in a diverse cultural context. The association creates opportunities for intergenerational contact and exchange, helping to fight the isolation of older people while breaking down stereotypes linked to age.

Free workshop open to all. Knitting-related events are offered throughout the year in Luxembourg City museums (Café Tricot Musée).
