Burn, Bake, Fall in Love: Luxembourg’s Spring Traditions
First event of the new bi-monthly "Bourgmeisterin: Fireside Chats" – a series supported by the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together, and Reception of Refugees, and co-produced with ARA City Radio. This conversation explores Luxembourg's major spring traditions such as Buergbrennen, Bretzelsonndeg, and Éimaischen, and considers their social importance then and now. Hosted by Julia Khalyavko, founder of Bourgmeisterin, and joined by Rosana Greco, a multicultural tour guide. Catering and drinks will be offered after the discussion to encourage informal exchanges.
Good to know
The event will be held in English. The fireside chat will be video-recorded and published as a video podcast on YouTube. Admission is free. A short pre-event survey is required at registration (Ministry-funded initiative). Venue: Silversquare Luxembourg, main venue partner.
