The Luxembourg school system offers various models and educational paths. This diversity aims for flexibility and individual support, but also raises a fundamental question: do these many different paths—from early orientation to the range of linguistic and school models—lead to fair equality of opportunity? This discussion round focuses on the structure of the school system and asks whether the complexity of school models helps reduce social disparities or, on the contrary, cements them. Vera Dockendorf, teacher and union representative, shares her everyday practical perspective. Antoine Fischbach, expert at the National Observatory, contributes a scientific view on the systemic effects of various educational pathways.
