Perhaps you have already come across this lovely Japanese word: kamishibai? It comes from 'kami' – paper and 'shibai' – theater. This paper theater is a way of telling stories that Laura greatly enjoys. It allows the audience to look at illustrations together while the storyteller shares their tale.
