Winner of the 1st Prize at the USA International Harp Competition in 2019, Mélanie Laurent has established herself as a major figure in French harp music. She has performed in concertos and recitals around the world, in prestigious venues, alongside renowned orchestras. According to Olyrix magazine, "she visibly enchants the audience from the moment her hands touch the strings." Her first album, Pastel, released in 2025, was highly praised, receiving five Diapasons and a Qobuzissime award. She is also the principal harpist of the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
