A selection of medieval musical manuscripts will be presented at the Verlaine media library as part of the highlight "Gregorian chant, Messin chant" organised by the Conservatoire Gabriel Pierné. From the heritage collections of the Metz Libraries-Media Libraries, these documents provide valuable insight into the knowledge and study of medieval music. This small exhibition offers the opportunity to explore the great adventure of Messin chant, which originated in the cathedral school, through the oldest and most prestigious specimens preserved in Metz.
