Modern Women - Theatre
The Austrian author Elfriede Jelinek, hailed as one of the most important voices in German-language literature, explores society, politics, and feminism with humor, musicality, and analytical intelligence in her works. Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2004, she remains a major literary figure. The internationally renowned Luxembourgish actress Claude de Demo will present an electrifying reading of selected texts by Elfriede Jelinek at the TNL, from "Krankheit oder: Moderne Frauen" to the more recent trilogy "Sonne/Luft/Asche."
